cosmanova aka barbara schlachter-delgado, eine der gründerinnen vom österreichischen elektronik-label temp~records, legt mit „out of my mind“ ihr debut vor. die drei songorientierten tracks teilen elektropoppige einflüsse und eine vorliebe für catchy vocals. der titeltrack „ouf of my mind“ featured edwina vielhaber, die sängerin von twinnie („waiting for my love“ cheap 041), die die nummer mit ihren zart-bitteren vocals zum ohrwurm macht. track zwei, „who’s that girl?“, startet mit einer prägnanten bassline um sich dann in einem melodiösen clubtrack aufzulösen. spleeny lieferte hier die leadvocals. mit dem ersten track der zweiten seite, „ay amor!“, ist nun auf vielfachen wunsch endlich auch der track auf vinyl erhältlich, der es als mp3 bereits in die playlists diversere radiosender geschafft hat. in diesem von cosmanova selbst eingesungenen track machen sich durch die spanischen vocals auch ihre südamerikanischen roots bemerkbar. als draufgabe gibt es einen remix des titeltracks. cosmanova aka barbara schlachter-delgado, one of the founders of the austrian label for electronic music temp~records presents her debut ep „out of my mind“. the three songoriented tracks share influences of electro-pop in combination with catchy vocals. the first track „out of my mind“ features edwina vielhaber, the voice of twinnie („waiting for my love“ cheap 041), whose bittersweet interpretation makes the tune extraordinary. track number two „who’s that girl?“ starts with a striking bassline to resolve in a melodic clubtrack and features leadvocals from spleeny. „ay amor!“ the first track on the second side, that already has been released as mp3 and was on the playlists of various radiostations, finally made it’s way on vinyl. with the spanish vocals sung by barbara herself she pays tribute to her southamerican roots. last but not least the vinyl provides a vocalhouse-remix of „out of my mind“ tmp-004ep | 12" ep
